Cooper Engineering has been awarded contract to provide Manufacturing Support Services during a new production line Start-up project.

The project will involve a team of Cooper Engineering engineers working with company in-house engineers on production line commissioning and ramp-up to full production.

Project will involve equipment specification, purchasing and installation, process validation and implementation of quality inspection and analysis programs on new processes.

Project is estimated to last 18 months.

Feb 2002 WCM finished pharmaceutical manufacturing company. Cooper Engineering has been awarded ongoing contract to validate product fill weights across 20 product lines.

Contract involves off-site analysis of fill weight data on periodic basis to verify that fill weights are controlled tightly within specification and that target fill weights are optimised.

Medical Device Manufacturer – real-time SPC implementation across 2 production lines.

Project included assessment of existing in-house manual based data collection and analysis systems on these lines.

These systems were improved and automated via configuration and installation of customised real-time data acquisition systems.

These systems collected product and characteristic data directly from production line measurement devices and made this data available on the existing company network.

Availablity of this data in realtime facilitated real-time analysis and reporting from any remote location within the manufacturing facility.
